Toyo Tires Rolls Out Three New Tires at the Mid-America Trucking Show

CYPRESS, CA – Demonstrating its commitment to the commercial trucking industry, Toyo Tires is rolling out three new tires this week at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky.  These premium products are designed to enhance the driving capabilities of medium trucks and include:  the SmartWay verified M177 regional to long-haul steer tire; the M170 regional steer tire; and the M920 drive traction tire for regional and long-haul trucking.  Featuring Toyo Tires’ proprietary e-balance technology, these tires deliver improved tire life, endurance, and retreadability plus reduced rolling resistance and irregular wear.

Toyo M177 Regional to Long-Haul Steer Tire

The M177 is a U.S. EPA SmartWay verified, premium low rolling resistance steer tire designed for use in regional to long-haul applications.  Fuel efficiency, excellent durability and enhanced retreadability make it an important addition to any fleet.

Also suitable for use on a trailer position, the M177 is available in both G and H load ratings in the following sizes: 295/75R22.5, 285/75R24.5, 11R22.5 and 11R24.5.

Toyo M170 Regional Steer Tire

The M170 is a regional steer tire that is capable of being used in all wheel positions.  It features a durable compound and increased tread volume as well as improved bead durability and improved wear.  These features result in a longer tire life and smoother drive.  Current sizes are an 11R22.5 and a 12R22.5, both with an H load range.

Toyo M920 All-Season Drive Traction Tire

The premium M920 drive traction tire is a ‘must have’ for trucks that require all-season capabilities to deliver loads in any weather condition.  Designed for regional and long-haul applications, it features wide, staggered tread blocks for improved traction and performance while additional features assist in excellent wet performance, longer tire life and reduced irregular wear.  The M920 is currently available in a 245/70R19.5 and an 11R22.5, with plans to expand the line-up later this year.

“Toyo Tires is focused on delivering innovative new tire products to the commercial trucking industry,” said Lowell Slimp, senior product manager, commercial truck tires, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.  “Both fleets and independent operators will benefit from our wide range of premium products that deliver extended tire life and exceptional retreadability while minimizing fuel consumption.”

In addition to bringing new products to the commercial trucking industry, Toyo Tires recently improved their casing warranty making it one of the best in the tire business. Details can be found at toyotires.com/tbr or through an authorized Toyo Tires dealer.
