Toyo Tires Introduces New High Value Extensa A/S All-Season Passenger Car Tire
Toyo Tires introduces the Extensa A/S, a new all-season tire which delivers extended wear and high value for passenger cars and minivans. A product of Toyo Tires’ Tmode computer design technology, this new tire delivers exceptional versatility with low maintenance, reliability, precise all-season handling and a comfortable ride.
The Extensa A/S has a symmetric, non-directional tread design which allows for cross rotation and a long tread life. A shoulder rib connects shoulder blocks for increased stability while full-depth multi-wave sipes minimize irregular wear for a longer tread life and quiet, comfortable ride.
An optimized center block arrangement provides good ride comfort, while a high bead filler absorbs bumps and vibrations to minimize overall tire flex. Two full-width steel belts reside under a high-modulus polyester casing and high-wear cap/base tread compound. This combination delivers quiet operation, a smooth ride and durability. Four wide circumferential tread grooves work in conjunction with variable pitch channels to evacuate water for improved wet traction.

Available in a wide range of fitments for 13 through 17-inch wheels, the Extensa A/S assures extra confidence on the road. Initial sizes total 19, an additional 27 sizes will be released through the summer. UTQG ratings include a 620 A B for “S” & “T” speed rated, and a 360 A A for “H” speed rated product.
