Team Toyo’s Brandon Arthur and Kyle LeDuc Capture Wins at the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series in Utah

TOOELE, UT – Team Toyo’s Brandon Arthur and Kyle LeDuc both captured wins during the Lucas Oil® Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) this past weekend at the Utah Motorsports Campus in Tooele, UT.  This marked the first time the series held night races at the Utah track.

Brandon Arthur scored the first victory of the weekend for Toyo Tires by winning Friday night’s Round 7 in the Pro Lite class.  His #6 MAV TV / Toyo Tires Chevrolet truck was equipped with off-the-shelf Toyo Open Country M/T tires.

Arthur returned Saturday evening for Round 8 to finish on the podium in third place, making it a very successful race weekend for his team.  He is currently in second in the 2018 championship points for the Pro Lite class.

“My Open Country M/T’s were hooked up all weekend,” said Arthur.  “They felt great for the track conditions we faced throughout the race.”

The final race on Saturday evening was the Pro 4 class with its thundering 900-horsepower trucks.  Kyle LeDuc put an exclamation mark on the race weekend for Toyo Tires by standing on top of the podium with a victory.  His #99 Monster Energy / Toyo Tires / WD-40 Ford truck relied on Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires to help deliver the win.  This marks LeDuc’s eighth win in Utah since 2011, having scored at least one win per weekend since 2014.

“Today we raced in Utah and they gave us a track that demanded traction,” said LeDuc.  “We had massive traction with our Toyo tires and were able to gap the competition and take home a win.  I am honored to be the winningest driver at this track.”

“We congratulate Brandon Arthur and Kyle LeDuc for scoring wins during the first-ever night races in Tooele, Utah,” said Stan Chen, senior manager of events and sponsorships, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.  “We are especially proud of Kyle for being the winningest driver at the Utah Motorsports Campus. Both our off-the-shelf and competition-bred Toyo Open Country M/T tires have proven themselves once again in the most adverse conditions.”

Kyle LeDuc and Toyo Tires have won five Pro 4 class championships in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series since 2012.  His last four championships were consecutive through 2017.

Rounds 9 & 10 will be held September 21 and 22 and the Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA.  The 12-race Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series can be seen on CBS, CBS Sports Network and MAV TV.  Log on to www.lucasoiloffroad.com for race highlights and for schedules of television coverage.  Learn more about the full line of race-proven Toyo Open Country tires at www.toyotires.com.
