Seventh Annual Toyo Tires Shutter Space Automotive Photo Contest Returns Prizes Include DSPTCH and Pelican Merchandise, Photo Features, Trip to SEMA, and More.
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA – Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. (Toyo Tires®) announces the highly anticipated return of the Seventh Annual Toyo Tires Shutter Space Automotive Photo Contest. This year's edition promises to be a captivating celebration of automotive photography, showcasing the remarkable talent and creativity of enthusiasts as they submit their best “dramatic lighting” shot.
The Grand Prize package for the winning entry includes their photo displayed and featured at the esteemed Shutter Space Collaborative Car Meet & Automotive Photo Gallery that will be held in Southern California on Saturday, August 26, 2023. This highly anticipated event promises to be a unique celebration of automotive culture, showcasing breathtaking photography alongside impressive custom car builds and fostering connections within the passionate car community.
Additionally, the winner’s photography will be shared on Toyo Tires’ influential social media channels that boast millions of followers, providing extensive exposure and recognition. They will also receive a Westcott FJ Wireless 2-Light Portable Flash Kit, a Pelican 1535 Air Carry-On Case, and an exclusive Toyo Tires branded DSPTCH camera strap. The Grand Prize winner will have the exclusive opportunity to be a guest photographer for Toyo Tires during the 2023 SEMA Show, capturing the excitement and innovation of this renowned automotive trade event.
In addition to the Grand Prize winner, there will be 19 finalists selected whose photos will be featured at the event and they will receive a Pelican 1535 Air Carry-On Case and an exclusive Toyo Tires branded DSPTCH camera strap.

Entries will be judged based on the following criteria: their originality; artistic composition and technical aspect; embodiment of the Toyo Tires’ brand and lifestyle; and the inclusion of this year’s theme, “dramatic lightning”. Submissions are due no later than Wednesday, July 5, 2023 11:59:59 p.m. PT.
