Gustavo Vildósola Sr. and Toyo Tires Capture Tenth Consecutive Trophy Truck Legends Class Win at the SCORE Baja 500

ENSENADA, BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO – Gustavo Vildósola Sr. and Toyo Tires® took the win in the SCORE Trophy Truck Legends class at the 56th SCORE Baja 500, capturing a tenth consecutive class win in a row. In addition, Justin Davis placed first in the SCORE Trophy Truck Spec class, and Team Toyo’s Trophy Truck drivers, Tavo Vildósola, Bryce Menzies, and Christopher Polvoorde now lead the SCORE Trophy Truck class championship points race in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively at the halfway mark in the season.

Gustavo Vildosola Sr., driving his #1L Ford Raptor Mason Motorsports truck, clinched first place in the SCORE TT Legends class, recording the fifth fastest overall time of 9 hours, 27 minutes, and 49 seconds. Gustavo and his co-driver, Ricky Johnson, had a seamless performance, encountering no issues on the course which enabled them to maintain a strategic pace and secure their lead. In the TT Spec class, Justin Davis and his #285 Green Army Team TSCO-Chevy truck recorded their victory in an overall time of 10 hours, 6 minutes, and 9 seconds. With another flawless drive, Davis and was able to keep a consistent pace throughout the duration of the race, allowing his team to overtake the leader and maintain the lead to the finish. Both drivers relied on championship-winning Toyo Open Country® M/T-R tires to complete their wins.
