Andy McMillin and Toyo Tires® Win the BlueWater Resort Parker “425” Overall for the Second Year in a Row

PARKER, AZ - Andy McMillin and Toyo Tires won first overall and first in the Trick Truck class during the Best In The Desert BlueWater Resort Parker “425” race this past weekend in Parker, AZ.  This is McMillin’s second consecutive Parker 425 win.  McMillin’s #31 Toyo Tires / Method Race Wheels/ Safecraft / Fox Shocks Trick Truck relied on 39-inch Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires to help deliver his victory.

McMillin returned to Parker with an all-new Mason built truck, constructed and tested during the off season.  He proved to be the ‘driver to beat’ once again by qualifying in first.  McMillin then won the 425-mile race with a time of 07:04:59.944.

“For the first race in the new Toyo Tires/Mason truck, to be able to qualify first and win the race is an indescribable feeling,” said McMillin.  “My Toyo tires were absolutely perfect – not one flat tire all day on a very treacherous and rocky course.  I couldn’t be more pleased with all of the components on this truck.”

“With back-to-back wins of the Parker 425, McMillin has once again demonstrated his strength behind the wheel as well as the strength and durability of our Open Country tires,” said Stan Chen, senior manager of events and sponsorships, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.  “We look forward to seeing more impressive wins from him this year.”

In addition to winning the Parker 425 in 2017, McMillin also won the 2017 SCORE Baja 500 and the 2016 Best In The Desert Vegas-to-Reno race on Toyo Open Country tires.
