COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA – Toyo Tires® returns to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 31 – November 3. Toyo Tires Treadpass, a remarkable showcase of world-debut vehicles, will be on display for its 10th year. Located between the Central and South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Treadpass is the largest concentration of vehicles and builders at the show and has continued to be a popular destination for SEMA attendees. On display adjacent to Treadpass will be an art installation by artist Blue the Great, performing a live painting demonstration.
30 vehicles will make their world-debut at Treadpass, a highly coveted and rewarding moment for Toyo Tires and the builders at this year’s show. Toyo Tires prides itself on the variety of vehicles and creativity that the builders bring to the Treadpass every year.
Artist Blue the Great will collaborate on an art installation combining his creative designs with live painting on a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Blue is originally from Dallas, Texas, but currently resides in Los Angeles, California and is known for his signature mummy design style, a common feature in his works. His art has been notably featured in various Kendrick Lamar projects. He has also worked with top brands such as Nike, The Hundreds, Beats by Dre, Bodega, The Ellen Show, and more. From creating Isaiah Rashad’s The Sun’s Tirade album cover to making his art come alive in self-made animation, Blue’s artwork ranges through a variety of mediums with his free-flow style.
“Treadpass returning for its 10th year is a testament to Toyo’s dedication to delivering a showstopping spectacle at SEMA,” said Stan Chen, senior manager, events, sponsorships and motorsports, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. “We are fortunate to work with artists and builders that share the passion we have for the automotive industry. From a one-of-a-kind carbon fiber Ferrari to race spec time attack vehicles and unique off-road rigs, we pride ourselves on keeping the show fresh and new for attendees.”
Toyo Tires will be bringing back their popular limited-edition pins in collaboration with Leen Customs. The 10 pins featuring new Toyo Tires vehicles will be distributed at designated times during the show. Schedules for the pins will be available at the Toyo Tires Treadpass.
